For much of my life, I followed what many would consider a traditional path: a successful real estate career, raising a family, and building a life centered around work and responsibility. But beneath the surface, years of unhealthy habits had taken their toll.
In 2021, a health scare forced me to stop and take an honest look at the direction I was heading.
I made one decision that changed everything.
I stopped drinking.
I committed to rebuilding my health.
And I started to move.
What began with short walks gradually became bike rides, runs, and eventually endurance training. Day by day, small decisions became lasting habits. Over time, I lost more than 80 pounds, rediscovered discipline, and found a new purpose.
In just over two years, I completed my first:
* Sprint Triathlon (2)
* Olympic Triathlon
* IRONMAN® 70.3
* Half Marathon
* Full Marathon
That journey culminated in crossing the finish line of IRONMAN Florida in November 2024. Something I never imagined possible just a few years earlier.
But earning an IRONMAN medal wasn't the greatest reward.
The greatest reward was becoming someone who believed that lasting change is possible through consistency, discipline, and simply refusing to quit.
Today, I'm continuing that journey through endurance sports, motivational speaking, and community.
My mission is simple:
To encourage others to believe that it's never too late to change the direction of your life.
Whether your first step is around the block, toward sobriety, toward better health, or toward a goal that feels impossible today.
Every transformation begins by choosing to move.
